What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model of food production and distribution that focuses on the relationship between producer and consumer. Producers plan for the needs of the consumer and the consumer supports the producer in this effort by purchasing a share of the harvest in advance. Through this model consumers become invested in and connected to the food they will eat while producers become encouraged and supported by the very folks they are working to provide food for.
